Return and Refund Policy

Effective Date: April 2025

At Myvol.in, we prioritize customer satisfaction. Every scent made here is created with utmost precision and love yet surely not everything is up to the mark; this is why we have put together this return and refund policy. Please be sure to read this document carefully before you proceed with the purchase for any returns, replacements, or refunds.

1. Eligibility for Return

For reasons of hygiene and personal use involved with perfumes, items may be returned in these instances only:

  1. The wrong product was delivered
  2. The product arrived in a damaged or leaking condition
  3. The product was delivered in an incomplete order
  4. The product was faulty or expired

We will not process returns if a customer simply declares personal opinion concerning the product (e.g., you didn’t like the fragrance), once the item has been opened or used.

Note: To be eligible for return, the merchandise must be unused, in its original packaging, and with the safety seal intact.

2. Timeframe for Returns

To request a return or replacement, please contact us within:

  • 48 hours of receiving the order for damaged, missing, or incorrect items
  • 7 days from the delivery date for all other valid return concerns

Requests made after this period may not be eligible for processing.

3. How to Initiate a Return

To start a return, please email us at support@myvol.in with:

  • Your order number
  • Photographs or video of the product and outer packaging (in case of damage or wrong item)
  • A brief description of the issue

Our support team will verify the claim and respond within 2 business days with next steps.

If approved, we will arrange a reverse pickup through our logistics partner (wherever serviceable). In case reverse pickup is not available in your area, you may be asked to courier the item back to us.

4. Return Shipping

  • Have/will there be damage, defect, or an order error? Yes, free of cost return shipping will be provided against these approved returns. 
  • Returns by customers (if any): The return shipping may also be paid for by you. 

Properly packed items so that they don’t get damaged while travelling. Myvol.in is not responsible for any returns that get damaged or go missing in transit if they are not packed properly.

5. Refunds

Once we receive the returned item and inspect it, you will be notified of the approval or denied refund status.

If approved:

  1. Prepaid orders: Refund to be credited back to original payment method like credit cards, UPI, netbanking within 7-10 business days
  2. Cash-on-delivery orders: The refund will be in store credit or bank transfer mode depending on what the customer prefers.

An email/SMS notification would be sent once the refund process is completed.

6. Replacements

In cases of products that are either damaged or expired or incorrect, a free replacement could be requested as opposed to a refund. Such replacement is, however, subject to availability. 

Where the replaces product stocks out, a refund would instead be issued which would cover the entire cost or a different product equivalent to it would be provided.

7. Products Not Eligible for Return

  • Unsealed, sprayed or tampered perfumes
  • If seals have broken or packagings are missing from products
  • Free sample or free gifts
  • Discovery kits or trial sets (if the entire set is returned sealed)
  • For items bought on final sale or clearance (unless damaged or defective)

8. Cancellation Policy

You are permitted to cancel your order within one hour of placing it as long as it has not yet been shipped. To do that, just email support@myvol.in, or call into our customer service. If it is dispatched already, we can no longer cancel, but you may still be eligible for a return depending on the case.

9. Store Credit

If preferred, you may choose to receive your refund as Myvol Wallet Credit, which can be used for future purchases on the website. Store credit is issued instantly after approval and does not expire.
